Thank you for choosing Australian Online Courses for your staff professional development. Upon receipt of your completed enrolment form, a tax invoice will be sent to your nominated email address.

  • Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

    1. By accepting these terms the participant agrees to pay the Course fees (including GST) for the Course using the payment method selected on the enrolment form.
    2. The participant accepts that he/she is required to pay the full amount of the Course fees even if he/she does not complete the Course.
    3. If the participant is under 18, the parent/guardian is responsible for the payment of the Course Fees.
    4. In the event that the participant does not complete the Course within the 12 month enrolment period, he/she may apply for an extension before the enrolment expiry date. Otherwise, the enrolment will be cancelled.
    5. The duration of the Course is stated in the AOC Course Description and/or advised at time of enrolment.
    6. Course commencement is the date upon which we receive your course fees in full, or your deposit (for direct debit payment arrangements).

    8. Course Enrolment
      1. Course enrolment is complete when the participant has been issued a username and password for online course access.
      2. Course duration is effective from the date elearning access is granted.
      3. Course commencement is effective from the date elearning access is granted.
    9. Course Materials and eLearning Access
      1. Course Materials are supplied in an online environment, unless otherwise stated in the course description, and are available for viewing online and may not be downloaded. Some our programs may have course materials available for download, however you would need to confirm whether this applies to your program prior to enrolling.
      2. The content of the online Course Materials, including copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of AOC. You may not reproduce any part of the online Course Materials without the prior written consent of AOC.
      3. Course materials are provided online via our Learning Management System (LMS) 24/7. The eLearning site may occasionally be unavailable during scheduled maintenance. In the event that our elearning system becomes unavailable, course materials will be provided by another mode of delivery
    10. Course Extension Policy
      1. If the participant wishes to continue with their course beyond the expiry date, application for a course extension must be made via our website and received 7 days prior to expiry date. AOC will provide a free enrolment extension for many of our programs if the student has not completed the course within allocated time. Some programs may not be eligible for a free extension. Once the allocated time for a given program/course has ended the student will no longer be provided with access to the course material, course assessment and unlimited tutor support.
    11. Course Transfer Policy
      1. If you wish to transfer into another program, you may do so within 7 days of your commencement date free of charge. The following conditions apply:
        1. Transfer must take place within the first 7 days since course commencement;
        2. Participants can transfer into a course of the same level and fee value or pay the difference;
        3. Transfers that occur after 7 days and within 21 days will incur an Administration Fee. A credit voucher will be issued to the value of total course fees paid less the 20% Administration Fee (20% of the total course fees); and
        4. Participants will not be eligible for a course transfer after 21 days.
    12. All credit vouchers/discount coupons have the following conditions of use:
      1. Not redeemable for cash;
      2. Valid for one (1) use only;
      3. A cancellation/administration fee of 20% of the total course fees will be withheld;
      4. Coupon code must be quoted on the enrolment/order form at the time of enrolment; and
      5. Coupons/vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons/credit vouchers.
    13. Direct Debit Policy
      1. Deposit or full payment is to be made along with an online enrolment form to confirm enrolment.
      2. All monies (including deposits) are non-refundable once payment has been made. Where applicable, credit vouchers will be issued to the value of all payments mad, less any dishonour and/or administration fees.
      3. Direct Debit payment options will incur a small setup fee and transaction fee from the Direct Debit Provider for using this service.
      4. If you enrol using our direct debit flexible payment plan, no certificates will be issued until payment has been completed or paid in full.
      5. If payment is rejected under a direct debit payment plan due to insufficient funds in your account, the Direct Debit Provider reserves the right to deduct an additional dishonour fee from your account. Your elearning access may also be suspended if your payments are dishonoured.
      6. Australian Online Courses reserves the right to cancel your enrolment and withhold your Certificate/Statement of Attainment if regular payments are not made as per the direct debit agreement.
      7. Failure to pay any outstanding amount may result in an unpaid listing on your Credit file.
      8. If you are unable to complete the course in the dates specified, then you must apply for a course extension via our website prior to your completion date. Payment of fees do not guarantee competency will be achieved.
      9. In the case of a payment plan arrangement, payments are conducted over a weekly/fortnightly time frame via direct debit from your nominated bank account or credit card. It is the account holders responsibility to check with their financial institution to confirm that direct debits can be made from their account.
      10. Deposit: A minimum deposit is payable per course and is due and payable before elearning access is provided.
    14. AOC Refund Policy
      1. Should AOC cancel a course for any reason, students enrolled at the time AOC announces the cancellation will be entitled to a full refund, and this will incur no administrative charges or penalties.
      2. Withdrawal during course or program. While refunds are not provided if a participant simply changes their mind, AOC will issue a credit voucher less a 20% administration fee (20% of the total course fees) within 21 days of the commencement date. No credit vouchers will be issued outside of this period.
      3. Withdrawal due to illness or hardship. In the case of a participant who withdrew from a course or program due to illness or extreme hardship, AOC may, at its discretion, allow a refund of the fees. The following conditions apply: 1. The person concerned must produce satisfactory evidence of the circumstances of his/her withdrawal, such as medical certificates; 2. A cancellation/administration fee of 20% of full course fees will be withheld; 3. Withdrawal must take place within the first 7 days since course commencement; and 4. If a refund has been issued a Certificate will NOT be granted.
    15. AOC Credit Voucher/Coupon Code Policy
      1. All credit vouchers/discount coupons have the following conditions of use:
        1. Not redeemable for cash;
        2. Valid for one (1) use only;
        3. Coupon code must be quoted on the enrolment/order form at the time of enrolment; and
        4. Coupons/vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons/credit vouchers.
    16. Confidentiality and Privacy Policy
      1. We will make reasonable efforts to keep any such information that we have about you secure and to ensure that any of our employees or agents who have access to information about you do not make any unauthorised use, modification, reproduction or disclosure of that information. We will only disclose information that we have about you:
        1. to the extent specifically required by law; or
        2. for the purposes of this agreement (including disclosing information in connection with any query or claim)
        3. information provided by you is considered confidential and will not be divulged to any third party, nor will it be sold.
      2. Upon enrolment into the course, we may use the content from your emails in our marketing materials and on our website testimonials page. Your identity will never be revealed, however we will use your initials and your City. Please be assured that we respect your privacy and only comments related to course outcomes and student experiences will be mentioned.
    17. AOC Code of Practice
      1. AOC has responsibilities to you as a student to provide you with a quality of service that will assist you as much as possible in attaining your course certificate. We undertake to abide by all our policies and procedures.
      2. AOC agrees to:
        1. provide a tax invoice
        2. provide login details to access the online Course Materials or provide access to materials via another method and assessments mark and provide feedback where applicable on submitted assessment tasks
        3. provide 7 day tutor support throughout the enrolment; and
        4. issue a Certificate upon satisfactory completion of the course (if applicable). We will provide clients with the results of their assessment within 7-14 days of assessment submission/completion.
        5. Certificates (hard copy) will be issued within 7 days after the completion of students’ final assessment. International students: please allow up to 28 days for the delivery of your certificate.
    18. Student Responsibilities
      1. Participants with AOC are required to:    
        1. Ensure that all the information provided to AOC is accurate;
        2. Notify AOC of any contact changes (email, telephone, address etc.);
        3. Advise AOC of any difficulties or problems they may experience with AOC staff, procedures or training;
        4. Achieve satisfactory progress with their studies through participation and completion of assessments; and
        5. NOT submit or claim as their own, work derived from other source or work completed by another person.

    By submitting an enrolment form and paying the Course Fees, or deposit (where applicable), the participant agrees to the above Terms and Conditions of Enrolment. Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Updated 02/06/2015.
